Phoenix ProjectRising together. Rebuilding community.

Programs

What we deliver

Four connected programs that take affordable housing from early planning through to occupied, well-supported homes.

  • Newly built affordable housing units on a residential street

    Affordable Housing Development

We identify sites, assemble financing and manage delivery of affordable rental and ownership homes. Each development is planned with local residents and designed for durability, energy efficiency and long-term affordability covenants.

    • Site acquisition through occupancy
    • Long-term affordability covenants
    • Energy-efficient, low-operating-cost design
  • Community members meeting together in a neighborhood space

    Community Development

Housing succeeds when the surrounding community does. This program supports resident-led planning, neighborhood amenities, and connections to services such as workforce training, childcare and transit.

    • Resident-led neighborhood planning
    • Connections to local services
    • Support for community amenities
  • Financial plans and housing project documents laid out on a desk

    Innovative Financing Solutions

We combine public subsidy, tax credit equity, mission-aligned debt and philanthropic capital into workable financing structures, and share what we learn so other developers can use the same tools.

    • Blended public and private capital
    • Feasibility and underwriting support
    • Transparent, replicable structures
  • Partners from several organizations reviewing housing plans around a table

    Strategic Partnerships

Complex housing challenges need many hands. We build and maintain partnerships with agencies, lenders, employers, faith communities and nonprofits to align resources, reduce duplication and move projects faster.

    • Public-sector coordination
    • Employer and lender engagement
    • Shared measurement and reporting
